I’ve spent more than two decades in the fantasy sports industry — as a writer, an editor, a marketer, an analyst, and a champion.

I’m a three-time winner of the Tout Wars Fantasy Baseball Experts League, one of the most competitive expert leagues in the country, and a nationally recognized analyst across fantasy football, fantasy baseball, sports betting, and office pools. If it involves turning sports data into a winning decision, it’s what I’ve done for a living.

My byline has appeared across many of the biggest names in sports media — FOX Sports, Yahoo, NBC Sports/Rotoworld, MSN, Sporting News, Yardbarker, TeamRankings, and Fantasy Index. And over the years I’ve written and edited hundreds of fantasy baseball and fantasy football magazines, including Fanball, the Fantasy Football Guide, the Fantasy Baseball Guide, Fantasy Football Index, Fantasy Baseball Index, Lindy’s Sports Annuals, Sporting News, and Street & Smith’s.

Why Matchup Notes

Here’s the problem I kept running into, even as someone who does this professionally: there is too much great fantasy, betting, and pools content to keep up with. The analysis is out there — brilliant, useful, and buried across dozens of sites, newsletters, and podcasts nobody has time to read or listen to in full.

So I read it for you.

Every week, I go through the best fantasy football, betting, and pools coverage in the industry and curate only the pieces worth your time — each one summarized in a sentence, credited to the writer who earned it, and organized so you can skim it all in five minutes. No filler. No noise. Just the best of the week, from someone who’s spent 25 years learning what “best” actually looks like.

Welcome to Matchup Notes. Let’s go win.
